About

Dog Training Philosophy

I strongly believe that all dogs and their owners are unique therefore I take a tailored approach to each and every person and dog that comes to me for help with dog training.

My training programme

I make full use of the four quadrants of operant conditioning and I will utilise most of these tools within my programme - although they will of course be adapted to your dog.

Core value

Positive Reinforcement

Add something to increase the frequency of a behavior.

Negative Reinforcement

Remove something to increase the frequency of a behavior.

Positive Punishment

Adds something to decrease the frequency of a behavior

Negative Punishment

Removes something to decrease the frequency of a behavior

Each dog is unique and each breed itself is unique therefore my approach to each dog is unique. Each breed requires different outlets to fulfill them also so I make sure that everything the dog needs is fully covered during the sessions.

Breed and breed type training is super important, a beagle doesn’t want to do the same things as a Belgian Malinois so therefore the approach must be different.

I’m a huge advocate for relationship building during training which can range from how we reward our dogs, how we spend time with them and also how we interact with them.

Learn to communicate with your dog

I use the latest k9 psychology to help communicate with your dog in a way thats fair and clear to the dog.
